If sports gambling is legalized in Missouri, the Kansas City Chiefs claim their stadium will be able to host sports betting. Chiefs president Mark Donovan has made it clear that sports betting will not be considered as part of the $800 million renovation plans, but he did say that the arena could easily handle facilities if that becomes a possibility.

The franchise plans to refurbish both the Harry S. Truman Sports Complex grounds and GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium if voters approve a sales tax extension on April 2. The project would be finished by 2030 or 2031.
