The Kansas City Chiefs want to maintain the group dynamic.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire appears to be here to stay, despite some rumors regarding his future.

The group made the choice to reintroduce the LSU product.

He used social media to announce that he had returned home and to express his excitement at the chance, for this reason (Via Harold R.Kuntz).

After a stellar collegiate career, Edwards was the final pick of the first round in the 2020 NFL Draft and came into the league with great hopes.
In 48 career games (32 starts), he has only amassed 1,845 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns with 89 receptions for 765 yards and seven scores.
He’s fallen down the rankings due to injuries and ineffectiveness, and Isiah Pacheco is now the starting running back.
Edwards-Helaire is still young, despite this.
He should still have a lot of gas left in his tank at age 24, and the Chiefs are constantly in need of depth.
It made sense to hold onto every player for the long term since Andy Reid’s club wants to be the first to win three straight Super Bowls but lacks the funds to make significant roster changes.
It will be a different story whether he manages to ultimately break through and become the star they hope for.
