In the Rams’ Week 12 matchup with the Cardinals, running back Kyren Williams of the Rams performed spectacularly both on the ground and in the air.

To put it mildly, Kyren Williams’ comeback to the Los Angeles Rams was noteworthy. After spending time on the injured reserve, Williams erupted for 143 rushing yards on 16 carries in his very first game back. In addition, he was extremely destructive when receiving the ball, scoring two touchdowns and 61 receiving yards on just six carries.

In NFL history, Kyren Williams of the @RamsNFL is the first player to play with:

140+ rushing yards
6+ receptions
60+ receiving yards
2+ receiving TD

In his first game back from IR, he accomplished everything.

Williams had an ankle injury that kept him out of action for a few games, but he proved he is fully recovered by helping the Rams destroy the Cardinals’ defense, which looked to be invincible.

“I’m an artist and this is my canvas,” the Rams tailback said after the game, per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN). “This is really what I love to do. During those four weeks, I wasn’t playing, but I was still in it. I was still at practice, still watching the film, still doing everything as if I was playing.”

Royce Freeman, who looks to still play a big part in Los Angeles’ backfield, also helped the Rams’ ground attack, rushing 13 times for 77 yards and a touchdown.

The Rams offense is feeling more confident since Williams’ return. The Rams emerged from their Week 10 bye with back-to-back victories over the Seattle Seahawks and the Cardinals, following three straight losses. However, the formidable Cleveland Browns defense will present LA with a formidable test in Week 13 when they travel to Inglewood.
