For their final November game, the Rams will get a valuable contributor back as they try to stay afloat in a crowded NFC playoff field.
Rams coach Sean McVay informed reporters on Friday afternoon that Los Angeles wide receiver Cooper Kupp would play against the Cardinals on Sunday, according to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times.
After spraining his ankle during Los Angeles’ 17–16 victory over the Seahawks on Sunday, Kupp was listed as day-to-day. After just one reception for eleven yards in the second quarter, he was out of the game.
Kupp has caught 24 passes for 375 yards and a touchdown in six games so far this season. His hamstring injury delayed his season debut until October 8.
The 30-year-old Kupp is still attempting to relive the glory of his 2021 campaign, in which he led the NFL in all significant receiving categories and helped the Rams win Super Bowl LVI.
State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona will host the Rams-Cardinals game starting at 4:05 p.m. ET.
After that, Los Angeles has a tough stretch ahead of them, starting with a home game against the Browns and a road game against the Ravens.
