Under Sean McVay, the Rams made the playoffs five times in seven seasons in 2023.

Head coach of the Los Angeles Rams Sean McVay has stated he will stay with the team for the upcoming season, so he won’t have to deal with retirement rumors during the 2024 NFL offseason.

During his appearance on the Coach McVay Show’s season finale, McVay was informed that he had an opportunity to become the head coach with the most victories in Rams team history the following season. When Rams broadcaster JB Long questioned McVay about whether he could guarantee that the Coach McVay Show would air in 2024, McVay replied, “That I can promise you.”

Over the course of the previous two offseasons, there was a lot of conjecture that McVay might give up coaching to work for the NFL in media. After Los Angeles won the Super Bowl in 2021, he came back to lead the Rams to a 5-12 record in 2022—the lowest record ever for the team that had just won the Super Bowl.

He stayed on to turn things around in 2023, despite the terrible season, and the Rams are now in the playoffs for the seventh time in his seven years as head coach.
