When Liverpool travels to Bournemouth in the League Cup, Jurgen Klopp will rotate his players once more. But who will he need to call upon for the fourth-round match?

The Reds head to the south coast in the hopes of advancing to the League Cup last eight, a level they last accomplished in 2022 when they won the trophy.

This game and the previous one are separated by three days, and Klopp will have four more days before his team plays its next league game against Luton.

Here is a look at who is available to play against the Cherries and who is not:

  • Curtis Jones (suspension) – available
  • Ben Doak (muscle) – doubt
  • Luis Diaz (personal) – doubt
  • Conor Bradley (back) – unavailable
  • Stefan Bajcetic (calf) – unavailable
  • Thiago (hip) – unavailable
  • Andy Robertson (shoulder) – unavailable

As of this writing, Luis Diaz’s father is still being sought after following his kidnapping on Saturday; therefore, it is unlikely that the No. 7 will be engaged in the proceedings.

Liverpool has given the winger all of their support and is helping him out as he waits for the most recent information from Colombia.

Curtis Jones is eligible to play domestically for the first time since he was sent off against Tottenham, and Ben Doak is still in the running after making a full recovery from his injury.

Doak returned to the group on Monday, according to assistant manager Pep Lijnders, who handled pre-match media responsibilities. The teenager had a muscular issue when he returned from October international duty.

The youth did not participate in the entire training session, so he was unsure about his availability and said, “Let’s see [if he will make the squad]”.

Unfortunately, Stefan Bajcetic is still out for this match; according to Lijnders, “we’re working with the medical team to discuss how we introduce him over the coming period.” Bajcetic would have been perfect for this match.

In a similar vein, Thiago is still sidelined due to his April hip injury, which “will take time.”

After beginning ball work, Conor Bradley is, in his words, “not in team training but he is getting really close.”
