The midfielder for Liverpool shared his thoughts following Sunday’s convincing Anfield victory against Nottingham Forest under manager Jurgen Klopp.
Dominik Szoboszlai declared that Liverpool is prepared for “every challenge” that comes their way following the Reds’ 3-0 victory against Nottingham Forest at Anfield on Sunday in the Premier League.
Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez, and Mohamed Salah all scored goals to secure the win for Jurgen Klopp’s team, continuing their stellar start to the new campaign. Messages of solidarity were also given to Luis Diaz, a teammate, following the alarming information about the kidnapping of his family.
After joining the Premier League in the summer, former RB Leipzig player Szoboszlai has settled in well and already has his first assist against Steve Cooper’s team.
The Hungarian international asserted that he and Liverpool have much more to offer and that they are more than capable of handling any challenge that comes their way.
After the triumph on home soil on Sunday, he said to Liverpoolfc.com, “Everyone tries to beat us, but we are ready for this.” “We are prepared to take on any team’s challenge. This season, as a team, we can accomplish a lot.
“This is how we have to start and keep going.” All we need to do is put in as much effort as we can; in the end, it will be worthwhile. Given how well we played, I believe we deserved to win. We received the three points since everyone performed their part.”
Szoboszlai continued to compliment Salah, pointing out how crucial it is to have a player with the Egyptian’s abilities in and around the side.
“Regardless of the situation—a penalty, a counterattack, an assist, or a goal—he is always a threat.” He’s crucial to us,” the midfield player remarked.
All I can say is that they are excellent guys and all around great players. They never do poorly; they always perform “just” ok at times. We have an easy job here.
