According to a recent article from Football Insider, Julian Alvarez is deemed “ready to go to the next level” by the Cityzens coaching staff.

After winning the treble with City the previous season and the 2022 World Cup with Argentina, Alvarez, 23, is considered one of the sport’s most intriguing young strikers. He has already “completed football.”

This season, the 23-year-old, who is replacing the injured Kevin De Bruyne, has already scored seven goals in 14 games across all competitions, and he looks to have another strong individual campaign.

City supporters will be thrilled to learn that the team has such high expectations for him, who is now valued at approximately £80 million (TM).

And while Alvarez recently signed to a contract extension that would keep him at the Etihad until 2028, the club’s attacking line looks to be in good hands, regardless of what the future holds for Erling Haaland.
