Andre Trindade, a midfielder for Fluminense, is reportedly a target for Liverpool in the January transfer window.

Journalist Dean Jones claims that several clubs are keeping an eye on the young Brazilian, with Andre’s winter transfer to Europe appearing to be a given in 2024.

Andre, 22, was heavily linked to Liverpool this summer, and the Reds are still said to be interested in signing him, with Arsenal now also in the running for the £34 million star.

It’s hardly surprising that Liverpool is intrigued to recruit Andre from Fluminense in January given their continued desire to strengthen their midfield.

And a transfer could potentially be in the works, as interest in the Brazilian star is beginning to heat up as 2024 draws closer.

Jones stated: “Andre is unquestionably one of the individuals they are still tempted to sign. He has had interest from a number of clubs, and several English teams are currently targeting the Brazilian market.

Liverpool needs to prepare the way for Andre.

With the Merseyside giants already planning to add a midfielder and a defender, January is already looking hectic for Liverpool.

Andre is a Brazilian prospect who may be a dream addition for Liverpool in this revamped squad, therefore securing him should be considered as a priority.

The Reds must now put in the effort to make sure that the midfielder is signed in time for January despite the fact that there will be heavy competition for him.
