Trent Alexander-Arnold, a star for Liverpool, was reportedly “unharmed” following a nearly fatal automobile accident on Friday.
According to The Sun, the England international ‘avoided death by inches’ after a 40-foot power pylon was uprooted by winds of 70 mph.
They assert that despite the fact that Alexander-Arnold was “shaken” following the incident on a muddy country road in Cheshire, he is undamaged and uninjured.
Alexander-Arnold’s £90,000 Range Rover is reported to have slammed on the brakes and swerved before hitting another vehicle.
According to a statement from Cheshire Police, “at 10.34am we were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a black Range Rover and a BMW.
“The disaster was brought on by an electricity pole that had fallen into the street. By 1:05 p.m., everything was finished and no one was hurt.
“We requested that the electricity be turned off from the energy provider.”
After the collision, Alexander-Arnold went to Liverpool’s practise session in preparation for Saturday’s Merseyside derby against Everton.
The right back, who is 25 years old, has made seven appearances for the Reds so far this year and has contributed one assist.
He has currently played 280 games for Liverpool and has contributed 73 assists and 16 goals.
