Given that both Manchester City and Arsenal have upcoming difficult games, Tottenham Hotspur has a fantastic chance to perhaps increase their advantage atop the Premier League standings.

With Ange Postecoglou’s team comfortably atop the table after eight Premier League games, Spurs have arguably been the season’s biggest surprise thus far.

The Lilywhites have a wonderful opportunity to give themselves some breathing room at the top given they have some very winnable matches coming up, but even the most optimistic Tottenham supporters do not anticipate the Lilywhites to remain in that position until the conclusion of the season.

Over the next weeks, Tottenham will host games against Fulham, Chelsea, and Aston Villa, which they are anticipated to win given their recent home performance and the unique atmosphere that has developed at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this year.

Additionally, they have two road contests at Crystal Palace and Wolves that they can win.

The following are Tottenham’s upcoming five league games:

Crystal Palace (A) – Friday, October 27

Chelsea (H) – Monday, November 6

Tottenham Web Opinion

The Premier League is not known for its easy games, so it will be interesting to watch how we handle the strain of playing teams like Chelsea and Aston Villa as favourites. We have a tremendous chance to hold onto the top spot going into December, which would be a remarkable accomplishment.
