Kerem Akturkoglu of Galatasaray is wanted by several teams, including Liverpool.

This season, Akturkoglu has excelled for both club and nation. In addition to contributing six assists this season, he scored his fifth goal against Latvia on Sunday.

The 24-year-old may soon be joining the Premier League, according to rumours that have arisen as a result of this. Aksam, a Turkish publication, claims that this is quite likely to happen.

They assert that Tottenham Hotspur, who are said to have already spoken with Galatasaray about a prospective move, are the most interested party.

Spurs are not, however, the only ones. Additionally mentioned as being interested in bringing Akturkoglu to England are Manchester United, Arsenal, and all of Liverpool.

Gala are reportedly eager to offer the left-winger a new contract in light of this substantial interest.

This, it seems, might not prevent a motion. There is allegedly a “expectation” that transfer negotiations will start in January as several Premier League teams are reportedly interested.

Akturkoglu is liked by Liverpool

For many Liverpool fans, Akturkoglu might not be a name they are particularly familiar with. On the other hand, the Turkey international has been operating in this market for a while now.

Akturkoglu is not a young person; he turns 25 this week. At Galatasaray, he has already played 135 times and scored 34 goals during his fourth season.

Last season, he scored nine goals and contributed 11 assists for impressive stats in the Turkish Super Lig.

He has eight games left in the current season and is already well on his way to surpassing that. The output of three goals and four assists is really healthy.

This particular form is what has caused Akturkoglu to be referred to as a “magician” in the Turkish media [The i]. Akturkoglu has adopted this identity, performing festivities with wands of all kinds, after it was said that he played on his likeness to the fictional wizard Harry Potter.

Unfortunately, we fail to understand how this would inspire the Turk to migrate to Liverpool.

Although he appears to be a superb player who is improving, he is a right-footed left-winger. Liverpool does not currently need to be considering those. In any case, it appears that we’ll be seeing this little wizard in the Premier League soon.
