Aaron Hickey, a full defender for Brentford, is apparently attracting interest from clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal.

The highly-rated Scotland international, however, is not likely to be signed by either team in the January transfer window, according to recent sources.

According to a recent report from Football Insider, Hickey, 21, is content with life at the Community Stadium and isn’t interested in requesting a transfer in the middle of the season.

However, there are other teams keeping an eye on Brentford’s number two besides Liverpool and Arsenal.

Bayern Munich and Manchester United are also said to have a sincere interest. However, the 21-year-old is primarily not being distracted by the high-profile interest in him due to the defender’s consistent playing time under Thomas Frank.

It will therefore take a really remarkable offer to convince the Scotsman to leave the Bees. However, considering the player’s delight, it is far from certain that he would even consent to a transfer given the circumstances.
