Darwin Nunez’s Premier League goal against David Moyes’ West Ham United at Anfield on Sunday was complimented by Stephen Warnock. Nunez is a striker for Liverpool.

West Ham United was defeated by Liverpool 3-1 at Anfield.

The Merseyside club’s goals came from Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez, and Mohamed Salah (penalty).

Stephen Warnock, a former Liverpool player, was covering the game on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Additionally, he was impressed with Nunez’s goal.

The goal was scored with a tough hooked volley from the striker after Alexis Mac Allister clipped the ball over the top.

Nunez put in a commendable attempt, but Warnock noted that the Liverpool striker had previously wasted a simpler opportunity.

Darwin Nunez, a striker for Liverpool, was lauded against West Ham United.

On BBC Sport, Warnock cited Nunez as follows:

“Nunez, he should have scored earlier on.

“This is an even more difficult opportunity he takes it on the flying volley, almost like a scissor kick and he finds the far left corner.

“He makes the difficult stuff look easy and he makes the easy look so hard.

“The relief on his face because he knew how important the chance was before but this is an outstanding finish from Darwin Nunez.”

Darwin Nunez might improve.

Darwin Nunez could improve for Liverpool, in our opinion.

Nunez can act erratically, as we all know.

When it comes to hitting the ball, the Liverpool star is not the most accurate player.

It is something the 24-year-old has to work on.

Nunez’s ability to land in advantageous situations and take advantage of opportunities is really encouraging.

Nunez simply needs to be more calm when it comes to converting his opportunities.
