According to Sky Sports, Salah has contributed to a goal or assist in each of Liverpool’s last 12 games in all competitions.
Merson praised the Liverpool player on X and insisted that he deserves more recognition than he currently receives.
Merson has it right.
Salah has been incredibly consistent for the majority of his tenure at Liverpool, yet he rarely enters the discussion for the best in the world.
He has established himself as one of the world’s top goal scorers, dribblers, and creators. There aren’t many players who can even compete with him, in fact.
It’s possible that Salah’s talent and valor won’t be remembered until after he hangs up his boots or leaves Anfield.
Hopefully neither will occur for a time and that the former occurs only in the latter’s instance.
