There are several reasons why the Los Angeles Rams are a strong betting favorite over the New Orleans Saints in tonight’s “Thursday Night Football” game, which is being played at home.

However, this one appears to be tucked away: Derek Carr is no match for L.A.

With four straight victories to push itself into the postseason picture, Los Angeles is riding high. The Rams are currently ranked seventh in the seven-team NFC playoff standings.

However, they are tied with five other teams, including the Saints, at 7-7.

What specifics support the “tucked away” logic, then? It’s not always SoFi Stadium, though. (In fact, Cooper Kupp may clarify that it’s not SoFi at all.) Therefore, it’s not like there is a one-sided advantage in terms of weapons; for instance, Alvin Kamara has been more of the same for the Saints for a longer amount of time, but running back Kyren Williams has been a major component of the Rams offense this season.

No, Derek Carr is here. And this is not meant to be personal, but as Rams Wire colleague Cameron DaSilva explains…

1. Carr, the former Raider who is now a Saint, is 0-3 in his career against the Rams.

2 – His TD:INT radio is zero:seven. That’s right; against the Rams lifetime, Carr has zero touchdown passes and seven interceptions.

3. In every game against the Rams, Carr has thrown at least two interceptions.

4-He has a pitiful career passer rating of 52.3 against Los Angeles.
