Rob Havenstein will return for the Rams against the Saints at right tackle.

Thanks to the improved play of guards Steve Avila and Kevin Dotson, the Los Angeles Rams offensive line has performed better than anyone anticipated. However, Matthew Stafford’s most seasoned blocker will make his comeback on Thursday when the team plays the New Orleans Saints. After missing three games, veteran right tackle Rob Havenstein will start against the Saints on Thursday, taking Joe Noteboom’s spot.

Additionally, Noteboom’s foot injury makes him doubtful to play against New Orleans, so the timing is ideal.

Throughout his career, Havenstein has not missed many days. Havenstein missed seven games in 2019, but in 2021 and 2022, he missed a total of just two starts. Since being selected in the second round out of Wisconsin in 2015, the 31-year-old has mantained the right side of the offensive line for the Rams.

Rookie cornerback Tre Tomlinson has been ruled out by the Rams, but Ahkello Witherspoon, Tutu Atwell, and Ronnie Rivers, who was recently designated to return, have all practiced fully. That makes L.A.’s roster about as full as a team can get in late December.
