Due to a shoulder injury, Eagles first-round selection Nolan Smith left the Seahawks game in the third quarter.
Smith’s return is deemed questionable.
Despite not playing much defense this season, Smith appeared to be under more pressure in this match. However, Smith made a long trip to the blue medical tent during the third quarter and then jogged inside.
Recall that Smith also experienced limited play due to a shoulder injury during the summer. He left the Browns preseason game early, which caused him to miss a significant amount of practice. Smith had surgery to repair his pectoral injury in November of last year.
It’s unclear if this injury is connected to the summertime shoulder injury.
With regard to his shoulder, Smith stated this summer, “You could say it’s scar tissue, something simple like (that).” “I really don’t want to delve too far into it. However, I care for it every day as it is my baby. She works and doesn’t work sometimes.
Smith had appeared in 13 games as of Monday night, recording 1 sack, 9 tackles, and 2 TFLs.
In the third quarter, Lane Johnson experienced a brief injury scare when his left ankle was rolled up. However, Johnson returned from his brief visit to the medical tent after failing to make even one offensive snap.
