Jalen Hurts is a warrior.

When the Philadelphia Eagles play the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football, they hope to snap their two-game losing streak. Due to an illness, quarterback Jalen Hurts was listed as questionable on Sunday, raising serious doubts about his ability to play, but it looks like the signal-caller will try to play here.

“Jalen Hurts, the quarterback for the Eagles, is expected to try to play tonight. It was Thursday when he first felt unwell. Yesterday I had the typical fever, chills, and body aches. However, we’re hoping Hurts is well enough to go tonight.”

When you’re sick with the flu, it’s hard to do anything, much less play football. Nevertheless, Hurts is a true warrior and is aware of the significance of this game for the Eagles. Philly has the opportunity to reclaim first place after the Dallas Cowboys’ loss on Sunday by defeating the struggling Seahawks, who are experiencing their own slump.

Hurts is finishing the season with 66.5% completion percentage for 3,192 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. This is a respectable performance. Despite not having particularly impressive passing statistics, Hurts is making an impact on the ground, averaging 3.6 yards per carry and 12 touchdowns on the ground.

It makes sense that the Eagles star’s illness caused him to travel to Seattle apart from the team. If Hurts plays all four quarters, this might ultimately be a flu game for him. If necessary, Marcus Mariota will be prepared to take over.
