On Friday night at Scotiabank Arena, the Chicago Bulls (5-11) will play the Toronto Raptors (7-8) in an attempt to snap a four-game losing streak on the road. This is the second meeting between these two teams, and the Bulls are looking to duplicate their October 28 overtime victory over the Raptors, which they won 104-103.
Exciting triumph
With just 2.3 seconds remaining in overtime, Alex Caruso made the game-winning three-pointer from the corner, donning the hero’s cape in that exciting encounter.
With seconds remaining in the game and down two points, Caruso stole the ball from Raptors All-Star Pascal Siakam as he drove to the basket. The ball was then moved upcourt by Zach LaVine, who avoided three defenders en route to the rim before zipping a pass to an anticipating Alex in the corner, who made the game-winning triple with ease.
Zach LaVine is questionable to play
LaVine’s eligibility to play against the Raptors has been deemed questionable. He was originally scheduled to play against the Oklahoma City Thunder the previous game, but he was forced to sit out because of some foot pain he was experiencing during warm-ups.
Conversely, reserve big man Precious Achiuwa is doubtful to play because of a knee injury, and Thaddeus Young, Christian Koloko, and former Bull Javon Freeman-Liberty will miss the game.
