Although the combo guard missed four games for Detroit, his return to the starting lineup against Chicago has the team very happy. Detroit, which is 2-8, needs to win a few games to boost its young team’s confidence.
Ivey is anticipated to provide Cade Cunningham and the Pistons offense with instant ball handling assistance. He is also capable of scoring. Ivey is shooting 49 percent from the field and averaging just under 12 points per game for Detroit. This season, he is averaging 2.5 rebounds and the same number of assists per game.
