Guard Jaden Ivey of the Detroit Pistons is expected to play against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday now that he is back for the team.

When the Detroit Pistons play the Chicago Bulls in their next game, star guard Jaden Ivey is expected to be in the lineup. Ivey should be ready for Sunday’s game, according to NBC Sports Chicago. After the Pelicans defeated him on November 2, Ivey hasn’t played.

Ivey has been absent, and there have been tidings regarding the young star’s well-being. Although the combo guard missed four games for Detroit, his return to the starting lineup against Chicago has the team very happy. Detroit, which is 2-8, needs to win a few games to boost its young team’s confidence.

Ivey is anticipated to provide Cade Cunningham and the Pistons offense with instant ball handling assistance. He is also capable of scoring. Ivey is shooting 49 percent from the field and averaging just under 12 points per game for Detroit. This season, he is averaging 2.5 rebounds and the same number of assists per game. Ivey currently plays just under 21 minutes per game, but the Pistons want to see him play more to support the team’s developing offense.

Leading Detroit in scoring with almost 24 points per contest is Cade Cunningham. Ivey contributes to the team in a number of ways, but he and Cunningham occasionally work together in the offensive scheme. Ivey is anticipated to play a significant amount of minutes for Detroit, though it is unclear if he will start for the team right away.

Ivey is not the only Piston making a comeback from an injury. Alec Burks is anticipated to return to the Pistons’ starting lineup as well. On Sunday, the Pistons and Bulls will tip off at 7:00 Eastern. Chicago’s season record is 3-6.
