Ian Wright believes that Nottingham Forest will defeat West Ham on Sunday at The London Stadium. The Reds enter the match fresh off their first victory over Aston Villa in six games.

Ola Aina and Orel Mangala’s goals helped the Reds win that match, and Wright seemed pleased with Forest.

Steve Cooper faces another Premier League test this coming weekend. This season, the performances have improved away from home, but a few more points would be greatly appreciated.

Wright believes Forest will defeat West Ham.

Wright only briefly borrowed items from Forest in 1999. Despite playing in few games for the team, he was a fan favourite and scored a few goals.

He was clearly enjoying the Forest game over the weekend, and he thinks they’ll play well against West Ham this coming weekend. After suffering a 4-0 defeat in the same matchup the previous season, the Reds will be looking to rebound.

“I think Forest beat them, I really, really do,” Wright stated to The Overlap. I knew Villa weren’t that good based on what I saw of them the other day. I’m going to choose Forest 2-1.

On Sunday, Forest has to play the Hammers.

Even West Ham isn’t playing well right now. When they play Olympiacos in the Europa League at home tonight, they’ll be hoping for a victory that will boost their confidence.

But Forest should not be afraid when they travel to East London. They should feel like they can win most Premier League games because they are a stronger team this season than they were a year ago.

David Moyes’s West Ham is beginning to show signs of life. On Sunday, Forest could win the atmosphere and make things very interesting if they score early.
