Jamal Musiala of Germany could be persuaded by Liverpool to recruit him since he is dissatisfied with his life at Bayern Munich.

One of the world’s top young players is Musiala. The former Chelsea academy star has already won it all with Bayern at the age of just 20. Not only that, but he’s regarded as a future Ballon d’Or contender by many.

So it must be impossible to leave Munich, right? Sport BILD says that it might not be as challenging as it first appears to be.

The German newspaper claims that Musiala is dissatisfied with his inconsistent inclusion in the starting lineup at the Allianz Arena this season. According to reports, Bayern, who are also in the middle of contract negotiations with Musiala, is in a “dangerous situation.”

There doesn’t seem to be much of a rush since the agreement is still valid until 2026. However, BILD assert that ‘major teams’ have been informed of Musiala’s predicament.

Liverpool is said to be one of them. The former England youth international is said to have been on the Reds’ radar “for a long time” and they would be intrigued if he became available.

Real Madrid apparently would as well. According to reports, Los Blancos are eager to match Musiala with Jude Bellingham, an old friend from England. The young man is allegedly “too polite” at the moment to openly show his fury at being dumped, but he is still thought to be angry.

Musiala unhappy at Bayern

If Musiala is actually made available next summer, Liverpool must be a contender. He may not fit the mould of the player the Reds desperately need right now, but he has superstar potential.

Jurgen Klinsmann called the player “phenomenal” at the 2018 World Cup, and Liverpool just received a referral of the player from a much closer geographical area.

Last week’s Q&A between Ryan Gravenberch and Sky Sports was intriguing for a variety of reasons. His penultimate response, though, ought to now draw some interest given this additional information.

When asked to choose the most talented young player he has so far played with, Gravenberch mentioned his former Bayern teammate.

The 21-year-old grinned and said, “I’ll go for Jamal Musiala on this one.” He acts erratically both throughout practise and competition. He is excellent for his age, so I will pick him.”

Gravenberch responded favourably when asked if the international for Germany has a chance of winning the Ballon d’Or in the future.

The Liverpool midfielder reportedly said, “I believe once in his life, yeah.” Naturally, he will continue to develop, so the likelihood is good.

Perhaps he’ll succeed while competing for Liverpool in red alongside Ryan? We can fantasise.
