After a hectic summer, it appears that Liverpool is already making plans for the upcoming several windows.

This summer, the Reds paid out on a lot of new midfielders, and it seems to be paying off. Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis MacAllister have adapted well, and Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk are once again performing at or near their peak level.

However, it appears that the Reds are preparing for life without Salah and are considering making a move for quick German winger Leroy Sane.

Liverpool wants to spend a lot of money on Leroy Sane.

The Mirror claims that Liverpool is interested in acquiring Sane and could even be willing to break their transfer record to do so.

Since he transferred from Manchester City to Bayern, Sane has been a significant member of the team. He may have some attitude issues, though, and there have even been rumours of a falling out with Sadio Mane at Munich.

If Bayern are actually willing to sell, that might leave Sane’s transfer to Liverpool open.

Sane would become one of the top paid players at the Reds should he sign with them given that he now makes more than £300k a week in Germany. At Anfield, Mo Salah currently earns the most money, taking home £350,000 a week.

ideal substitute for Salah
Leroy Sane appears to be the ideal replacement if you compare his play to that of Mo Salah and Leroy Sane when he is at his best.

It’s clear that Liverpool will eventually need to find a successor for Salah.

There is widespread agreement that Salah will ultimately relocate to the Middle East because Saudi interest is still present and the Reds managed to hold onto their talisman this time.

Liverpool supporters won’t really have much to complain about if Sane is the one who replaces Salah. Sane is still young, at just 27 years old, and has a lot of life remaining in him.
