The decisive goal by Dominik Szoboszlai in Liverpool’s Carabao Cup match against Leicester City was named Goal of the Month for September.

Szoboszlai, who entered the game at Anfield as a substitute in the second half, scored the game-winning goal for his club with a shot from outside the area into the top corner.

The magnificent effort defeated the No. 8’s well-placed drive against Aston Villa to win our Goal of the Month poll on Liverpoolfc.com.

Fourth place went to Darwin Nunez’s instinctive volley past West Ham United, followed by Andy Robertson’s goal at Wolverhampton Wanderers, and third place went to Mohamed Salah’s deft finish away at LASK.
