Injury updates for Spurs and Liverpool before their Premier League matchup.
Liverpool will go to Tottenham Hotspur this evening (17.30 BST) in an effort to earn their eighth straight victory across all competitions.
Even Jurgen Klopp has acknowledged that he was surprised by the Reds’ fast start to the season. They are now ranked second in the Premier League with 16 points after six games, and they advanced easily to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a 3-1 victory against Leicester City earlier this week.
But Liverpool will face a tough test against a Spurs team that has improved under Ange Postecogleu’s leadership during the summer. The London team is two points behind Liverpool after coming from behind twice to tie Arsenal 2-2 in the north London derby.
