One of the better transfers in the Premier League this year has to be Dominik Szoboszlai.

Since joining Liverpool this summer, the Hungarian has been absolutely great, and quite honestly, he’s surprised a lot of people.

In fact, many didn’t anticipate Szoboszlai to start strong after his move from RB Leipzig because a lot of players in previous years have suffered after leaving the Bundesliga, but he’s rapidly disproved all of his skeptics.

Jurgen Klinsmann, commenting on ESPN, said that he is not at all shocked that the midfielder is playing so well for Liverpool and described him as the complete player. The German wasn’t the only person to have no doubts about Szoboszlai.

The entire player Szoboszlai

On Liverpool’s summer acquisition, Klinsmann offered his assessment.

“It comes as no surprise to me because he had demonstrated in the Bundesliga his qualities, including his work ethic and ability to finish off plays and score goals. It’s not surprising at all because he is a complete player who has the ability to affect the outcome of the entire game and who, when inspired by his management, can carry that confidence from match to match while maintaining consistency in his performances.

Has everything

Szboszlai is described by Klinsmann as “the complete player,” and that description is accurate.

Szoboszlai appears to be flawless in every aspect of his game; he can run with the ball, strike it, find a killer pass, and he doesn’t avoid his defensive duties either.

Since Liverpool hasn’t had a player like him in a very long time, the £60 million transfer cost paid for the Hungarian this summer seems like a complete steal.

This summer, Liverpool was in need of a top-tier midfielder, and they have undoubtedly acquired one in this player.
