Jurgen Klopp’s decision to add several new players to the squad in the summer has coincided with Liverpool’s successful start to the season.
To bolster the midfield regions, Klopp splashed the cash on players like Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch, and Dominik Szoboszlai.
And according to Clinton Morrison, Szoboszlai’s form and performances have really taken him by surprise; the commentator admits he had no idea he was this talented.

Szoboszlai, who has been the Reds’ finest player thus far, has had a tremendously impressive start to the season.
“Liverpool’s Szoboszlai. He is the reason I mention him because, although I didn’t know much about him when they signed him, he has excelled in that middle. When asked who had surprised him this season, Morrison responded, “Edouard is a good shout as well.
“He has pleasantly surprised me. I think he’s a top-tier player; I had no idea he was that excellent, but he immediately adapted to life in the midfield and was a wonderful acquisition”.
Szoboszlai, who reportedly makes £120,000 a week at Anfield, appears to be one of the first names on the roster for Liverpool at the moment.
RTK’s Opinion: He’ll continue to improve.
Szoboszlai is only 22 years old, so there is still so much more to come from him in the future, which is excellent news for Liverpool but concerning for the rest of the Premier League.
He already exudes class, so it wouldn’t be surprising if he helped the Reds advance and achieve success in the future.
He does have the potential to be a little bit amazing at Anfield, but the thought of him getting better and better is terrifying. I’m hoping that’s how his career develops and we see a real world-class operator.
