After missing out on a summer transfer, with Tottenham apparently showing interest, Caoimhin Kelleher is reportedly content to stay at Liverpool.

The Athletic claims that since the transfer market closed, the Republic of Ireland international has not made a scene at Liverpool, where Kelleher was anticipated to leave Anfield.

The 24-year-old, who is valued at £20 million, reportedly attracted interest from clubs like Tottenham, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Brentford, but Kelleher chose to remain at Liverpool.

Kelleher is anticipated to make his season debut tomorrow against LASK in Austria as Liverpool begin their UEFA Europa League campaign.

And this contest might provide Kelleher with the stage she needs to attract possible suitors before the January transfer window, when the Liverpool goalkeeper might still be persuaded to go.

Indeed, Kelleher’s performance in the Europa League will put him on the radar for many clubs, and the Irish prospect have the potential to start for many elite sides across Europe.

Kelleher must perform well in the Europa League this year for Liverpool.

With his greatest years in goal still ahead of him at age 24, Kelleher is still very much in the early stages of his professional football career.

With Kelleher realizing that the Europa League will be a perfect platform to get his name out there, Liverpool will want to see the Irish goalkeeper excel in Europe.

Although Kelleher was unsuccessful in obtaining a transfer in the summer, anything can happen in January, and the Irishman’s success in the Europa League might pave the way for fantastic things.
