The Seattle Seahawks have defeated the New England Patriots 29–13 in Super Bowl LX, capturing the franchise’s second Lombardi Trophy in history. This victory was highlighted not only by Seattle’s dominant team performance but also by the fact that four former Alabama Crimson Tide players — Jalen Milroe, Robbie Ouzts, Jarran Reed, and Josh Jobe — have each become Super Bowl champions.
Jalen Milroe, the Alabama alum and quarterback for the Seahawks, adds a Super Bowl ring to his early professional résumé. Drafted in the third round by Seattle in 2025 after starring at Alabama, Milroe served as an emergency third quarterback in the game but remains a Super Bowl champion regardless of in-game snaps.
Robbie Ouzts, another former Tide standout, also earns the coveted ring. The fullback played a valuable role throughout the season as a physical blocker and special teams contributor, helping Seattle punch its ticket to the NFL’s biggest stage before ultimately celebrating the title alongside his teammates.
On the defensive side, veteran Jarran Reed was a steady presence along the Seahawks’ defensive front. His experience and production over the years were important parts of Seattle’s journey to the playoffs and culminated in the franchise’s championship night.
Josh Jobe, the cornerback, was instrumental in Seattle’s secondary throughout the season and put together a strong performance in the Super Bowl itself, finishing with multiple tackles and a pass defended. His play in the secondary helped keep New England’s offense in check during Seattle’s decisive win.
This Super Bowl triumph not only adds to the Seahawks’ legacy but also continues the impressive trend of Alabama Crimson Tide alumni succeeding at the highest levels of professional football. With four former Tide players now Super Bowl champions in 2026, the Crimson Tide’s footprint on the NFL’s biggest stage grows even larger.
