When it comes to television views, the Ohio State football program is among the most lucrative. People watch them regardless of the network or hour they are on. They either watch because they wish they lose or because they are supporting them.

Television networks are unaffected by this. The bidding process to host Buckeye games is extremely competitive because views are views. We are aware that The Game airs on FOX at noon and most likely will for some time to come. Additionally, we are aware of Ohio State’s opening two games’ game timings and networks.

On August 31, the Ohio State football team will play its first game against Akron. That game is scheduled to air on CBS at 3:30. The Buckeyes will kick off their season on CBS for the second year in a row. The previous season, it was the inaugural Big Ten game on CBS and it was versus IU.

Unexpectedly, Ohio State’s season-opening matchup against Western Michigan will take place at night. It airs on Big Ten Network at 7:30 p.m. The first two games will be played at the Shoe, at home. Although playing this game at night is a little odd, it’s acceptable. At that time of year, it will still be warm.

Only those three games’ game timings and networks are currently known to us. During the season, the remaining schedule will be released, which is a bit inconvenience. Before the season begins, I wish the Big Ten will just declare the broadcast location for each game.
