The antagonism between the Diggs brothers would eventually reach its zenith.

It’s not because the Dallas Cowboys signed Stefon from the Bills that the two Diggs siblings are now residents of Texas. Instead, in a trade that sends him to the Houston Texans, the standout wide receiver will play against an interstate foe.

As a triplet with two brothers, I can speak from experience when I say that there’s nothing better than having the opportunity to establish who the best member of the family is. I always tried to give it my all when my brothers were throwing to me in baseball or lining up against me in football practice. Both in advertising and in their offseason training, the Diggs siblings have demonstrated their same level of competition.

Fans have been curious about whether Trevon and his brother will ever wear stars on their helmets while playing on the same team after Dallas selected Trevon in the 2020 draft. By adding an image of his brother wearing a Cowboys uniform to his Instagram story, Trevon just served to stoke the rumors more.

It just pushes that possibility more down the road as it heads to Houston now. The Diggs brothers will play on the same field in 2024, despite not being on the same team. This season, the Cowboys and Texans will play at AT&T Stadium on an undisclosed day.

Staff writer for the team website Nick Harris offers a great suggestion on when to play the game.

Thanksgiving presents a unique opportunity for one of the most watched games of the regular season—the Diggs brother rivalry. Dak Prescott vs. C.J. Stroud, two Texas teams, and two previous year’s playoff teams would all be playing.

Though never in the regular season, Trevon and Stefon have faced off in the Pro Bowl Flag Football game. Dallas had the chance to play the Bills in Buffalo in 2023, but Trevon tore his ACL in the second week of the season.

You can count on the Diggs family to mark the game with a red Sharpie whenever it appears on their calendar in Dallas. Aaiden Diggs will undoubtedly be asked before the game who his dad and uncle think will win.
