Due to left knee soreness, LA Clippers star Paul George was forced to miss Sunday’s game against the Sacramento Kings. He will also not be able to play on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis.

George will not play against the Lakers and will not practice with the team, according to Clippers head coach Ty Lue in remarks to the media prior to practice on Tuesday.

In response to a question regarding George’s injury, Lue said, “He’s hurt.”

George was practicing before the team’s Tuesday practice, so even though he didn’t practice with the team, he was still able to get some on-court work done despite his sore knee.

Lue stated that the Clippers star had been playing through it in remarks to the media prior to Sunday’s game against the Kings, which George had missed due to this injury. George hasn’t been himself lately after struggling for a few weeks, which might be related to this persistent knee pain.

In his last 14 games, George is averaging 17.2 points per game on 41.3% from the field and 30.6% from deep, which is significantly less than his season averages. The Clippers will have to make up his production elsewhere because they want to ensure he is completely healthy before allowing him to play again.

On Wednesday night, the Clippers and Lakers will tip off at 7:00 PM PST.

  1. Have you ever considered about adding a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything. But imagine if you added some great graphics or videos to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and video clips, this site could undeniably be one of the most beneficial in its niche. Terrific blog!
