Insider: Steelers anticipated to pursue QB Ryan Tannehill
According to Tom Pelissero, Ian Rapoport, and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the Pittsburgh Steelers are anticipated to pursue veteran quarterback Ryan Tannehill in free agency.
“With new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, the expectation is Pittsburgh will explore adding free agent Ryan Tannehill, who had his best years with the Titans while Smith was the OC there,” the insiders wrote.

Under Tannehill, the Titans did have some success, but that success peaked five years ago. This is hardly a move that will result in any significant improvements at the quarterback position, if that was your hope.
Although there is still a month until free agency opens and a lot can happen in that time, this would be just another drab addition to the quarterback room that the Steelers have grown accustomed to. If this is their course of action, it would be quite depressing and leave little to look forward to in 2024.
