
Christian Kuntz, a long snapper, inked a three-year deal with the Steelers.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Kuntz has spent the last three seasons as the team’s long snapper, participating in 51 games overall.
He was a member of the Steelers practice squad in 2020 after joining the organization during the 2019 preseason. Kuntz also played for a while with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Denver Broncos.
Kuntz attended Pittsburgh’s Duquesne University, where he played collegiately and was inducted into the Duquesne Athletics Hall of Fame. He also attended Chartiers Valley High School. Playing linebacker, he concluded with a school record 30.5 sacks, two Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Year accolades, and the distinction of being the first player in school history to be named All-American three times.
