The 10-1 Eagles and 8-3 San Francisco 49ers will square off in a rematch of last year’s NFC Championship Game at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, rekindling one of the best emerging rivalries in the league.
The Eagles just defeated the Buffalo Bills 37-34 after a thrilling overtime victory on Sunday. After scoring three passing and two rushing touchdowns against the Bills, quarterback Jalen Hurts is still in the running for MVP. Defensive tackles Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter continue to apply pressure up the middle of the line of scrimmage for the Eagles. If defensive tackle Fletcher Cox is sidelined due to a groin injury, Davis and Carter might see a lot of action against the 49ers.
With the third-best offense in the league (386.1 yards per game) and the fifth-best defense (295.3 yards per game), the 49ers are a well-rounded team. They also feature standout players like defensive end Nick Bosa and running back Christian McCaffrey, who can take over a game if they are not taken out of it on the field.
Chris Franklin and Cayden Steele, co-hosts of the No-Huddle Show, along with Eagles reporters, provide a game preview. The two also discuss who will win the NFC top seed and the team’s difficulties in the first half of their victories over the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs.
