Both pass rusher Joey Bosa of the Los Angeles Chargers and wide receiver Cooper Kupp of the Los Angeles Rams were out due to injuries sustained during their respective games on Sunday.

When a Seattle defender stepped on Kupp’s right ankle late in the first half of the Rams’ game against the Seahawks, Kupp suffered an injury. The MVP of Super Bowl 56 visited the locker room prior to halftime and tested his ankle on the sideline during the third quarter, but the Rams eventually declared him ineligible to play.

Before his most recent injury, Kupp had one reception for eleven yards. He had ankle surgery in the second half of the previous season, and a hamstring injury kept him out of the first four games of this one.

Bosa was visibly out of uniform and on crutches when he returned to the field later in the game after suffering a foot injury in the first half.

Despite his struggles to stay healthy, Bosa has been one of the best pass rushers in the game. He was selected to the Pro Bowl four times. Bosa has six and a half sacks in eight games this year.

Due to a torn groin muscle last season, Bosa missed 12 games. He missed one game earlier in the season due to knee and hamstring problems.

Following the game, Chargers coach Brandon Staley provided no updates regarding Bosa’s health.

During the first series of the game, Bosa injured his foot and hobbled to the sidelines.

“I wish he was out there,” Chargers outside linebacker Tuli Tuipulotu said. “I love watching him play. It’s just a bummer.”
