Andre Trindade, a midfielder for Fluminense, has talked about his future as Liverpool considers showing interest in the Brazil international once more.
While Liverpool considers rekindling their interest in the Brazil international defensive midfielder, Andre Trinidade acknowledges he hasn’t made a decision regarding his future.
The 22-year-old has expressed his respect for Reds manager Jurgen Klopp’s work, though.
Liverpool is still looking for a long-term replacement for Fabinho, who is leaving this summer, even though they signed Wataru Endo from Stuttgart later in August. Andre hasn’t ruled out moving to England after the Brazilian season concludes next month, despite the fact that Arsenal has also expressed interest in him.
Andre declared, “I watch the Premier League a lot.” “Players have to meet high standards in this fiercely competitive league.” But for now, I just want to live here in Fluminense on a daily basis. Although I have a long contract at Fluminense and enjoy my time here, I have no idea what the future holds.
“I feel at home here because it has been my home for ten years now. At just 22 years old, I’m still quite young, so I shouldn’t plan too far ahead. All I have to do is keep working hard, try to take home this trophy, and wait to see what occurs at the end of the season.”
The midfield player continued, “I don’t think anyone believed that Fluminense could reach the Libertadores this year, but we believed we had it in us,” in an interview with the Guardian.
“We practically knew we would keep the squad until at least the end of 2023, regardless of what happened, regardless of whether we advanced or not in the Libertadores,” said Fernando Diniz, the coach of Fluminense, with whom I had already spoken in January. We are in the final, thank God.”
Prior to the Copa America final, Andre also talked with the Spanish publication AS, revealing that he had been observing Liverpool and Klopp’s work.
“I follow overseas games a bit and I know that their work is exceptional,” he stated. He is unquestionably an excellent coach who is highly successful and intelligent. However, Diniz is currently my coach; he is someone who I greatly respect off the pitch and who is aware of my playing style. I am aware of my progress in the field under his guidance.”
