After scoring twice in the Europa League so far, Ryan Gravenberch has stated his desire to score his first goal in the Premier League for Liverpool.

The 21-year-old, who moved from Bayern Munich in the summer, is having a positive start to life on Merseyside.

In his first 11 games for the Reds, Gravenberch has shown promise, scoring twice at Anfield against Toulouse and Union SG.

He is now aiming for his first Premier League goal.

The Dutchman grinned and exclaimed, “I need one!” to Premier League Productions. “And hopefully, I will make one for sure!

“I’m going to be here for a few weeks. Although there is still much to be done, I feel good and everything is well.

“To be fair, it has been very beneficial for me. I’m thrilled that I got off to a good start. And, to be really honest, the atmosphere at home games against Liverpool is incredible. I’m just content.”

Liverpool’s next Premier League game is on Sunday away at Luton Town.

The team led by Jürgen Klopp is in strong form going into Kenilworth Road, having won their last four games across all competitions, including the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, where they defeated AFC Bournemouth 2-1.

Prior to the match, Gravenberch declared, “There are no easy games.” No single team can be considered good or bad. You have to give it your all in every game. The Premier League is that.

“I [have] seen the stadium, it’s different from normal! I’m excited to go there.”

The number 38 continued, “There is more intensity, and also physically [it is harder],” when discussing the difficulty of playing in the Premier League as opposed to the Bundesliga and Eredivisie, where he has previously plied his trade.

“In my opinion, the Premier League is the best league in the world.” It’s not like the place I came from.

“For myself, I’m having fun getting back into the game, being on the pitch with my teammates, and giving it my all. The fact that I can accomplish that again benefits me both personally and as a player.
