At kicker, the Los Angeles Rams are in an intriguing situation. That is to say, the Rams’ kicker is a big mystery. My hope is that Lucas Havrisik can succeed Matt Gay in the future for Sean McVay and his group. I’m not sure if that will occur, though. None of them do. What is your opinion on the kicking situation in Los Angeles? Do you believe that McVay is to fault for the state of affairs as it is?

Unless I’m missing something, it appears that Lucas, the new kicker, will be starting for the Rams. Personally, I’m interested to see how Havrisik performs. I hope he does well, and at the very least, I applaud him for deserving of this chance.

To escape their present kicker quagmire, the LA Rams are casting a broad net (ramblinfan)

“Maher wasn’t content to just not kick well. He was unable to cover up ineffective attacking drives. Maher converted all seven of his field goals from 40 yards or shorter. But like almost all NFL kickers, his accuracy declined above 40 yards or more. This season, Matt Gay is only 7 of 9 for the Indianapolis Colts at 40 yards or more.

Do the Rams have a unicorn on their mind?

After cutting Maher, the LA Rams signed kicker Lucas Havrisik. but then went ahead and tried out five more kickers. Which one of them has a good, steady leg?

Let’s cite the statistics of each kicker over 40+ yards:

Lucas Havrisik | No stats

Mason Crosby | 40-49 yards 101 of 135 | 50+ yards 43 of 78

Austin Seibert | 40-49 yards 17 of 24 | 50+ yards 2 of 6

Tucker McCann | No stats

Matthew Wright | 40-49 yards 11 of 14| 50+ yards 6 of 8

Randy Bullock | 40-49 yards 70 of 91 | 50+ yards 14 of 28”

In his NFL debut, Lucas Havrisik will kick for the Rams against the Cowboys (ramblinfan).

Havrisik will make his NFL debut as the team’s kicker on Sunday against the Cowboys, according to Sean McVay. Although he has kicked in preseason games previously, this will be his first appearance in a regular-season game as a professional.

McVay stated that “he’ll be ready to go” for Sunday’s game, demonstrating his trust in the second-year player.

The most relevant comment regarding his lack of sleep as a new father came from a fatigued Sean McVay (ramblinfan)

Sean McVay always has a lot of energy when he stands at the stage for his weekly press conferences, especially on Fridays. But during his final meeting with reporters this week, he appeared a little…tired.

When a reporter called attention to his lack of energy, he responded bluntly, “Tired.””
