The FRISCO The Dallas Cowboys will host the Los Angeles Rams at AT&T Stadium on Sunday afternoon after having a bye week. The Cowboys have the longest active winning streak in the NFL, dating back to 2022, with 10 games remaining if they prevail in their Week 8 NFC matchup. Some may be surprised to learn that the Rams, who are sixth in the NFL in yards per game (365.1), are among the best offences in the league. With 17 big-play throws of 20 yards or more in 2023, quarterback Matthew Stafford has performed admirably and is tied for third in the NFL. The Dallas secondary, which has allowed the second-fewest big plays in the league with seven, excels at limiting big plays.

Dallas needs to gain the upper hand early on. In 2023, the Cowboys are 4-0 when leading and 0-2 when behind at the half.

Following a week off, Dallas is back to full strength, while the Rams are coming off a 24–17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. … at full strength, that is, until Tyron Smith, the tackle, was added to the disabled list on Thursday due to a neck ailment.

Thanks in large part to rookie wide out Puka Nacua’s breakout season, the Rams are now competitive in the NFC West. Cooper Kupp, a former Triple Crown winner, appears to be back as well as ever.

Micah Parsons, a star for the Cowboys, and the defence try to pursue Stafford. On the offensive end, receiver Tutu Atwell and running back Darrell Henderson, who was just signed, are equally potent.

In an attempt to maintain the winning momentum from their Week 6 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, the closely watched “Texas Coast Offence” CeeDee Lamb, the receiver, connected with quarterback Dak Prescott early and often. In a brilliant performance, Lamb caught all seven targets for 117 yards.

Lamb is nearing two significant anniversaries: on Sunday, he will need 129 receiving yards to surpass 4,000 career receiving yards and six receptions to accomplish 300 career receptions.

Dallas is pursuing the 6-1 Philadelphia Eagles, who lead the NFC East division, going into Week 8.
