Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid has hailed Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold in the wake of Friday night’s victory for England.
Gareth Southgate gave Alexander-Arnold a rare start against Australia, and he performed admirably overall. A rare occurrence for the Three Lions, the 25-year-old even played the full 90 minutes.
In addition, the Liverpool right-back was the focus of Bellingham’s Instagram post following the game.
The midfielder captioned a photo of himself and Trent arm in arm on the pitch after the game, ‘Brother’.
What Bellingham really thinks of the Reds vice captain was further clarified by the use of an embracing emoji and a star sign. what might have happened.
Bellingham clings to Trent exhibition
This is fantastic to see even though it still hurts a little for Liverpool fans to see anything about Bellingham.
The 20-year-old may have decided to spend close to £89 million joining Real Madrid over the Reds, but he is still one of the best players on the planet.
Bellingham has consistently demonstrated this since joining the Spanish juggernauts. His first ten games at the Bernabeu saw him score 10 goals, which is fairly amazing.
It just goes to show the kind of company the former Dortmund player keeps that he thinks so highly of Alexander-Arnold.
Naturally, Trent has no reason to think Bellingham is better than him. In contrast to his friend Jude, who is one of the first names on the teamsheet for his nation, he has won every football-related competition.
Bellingham may go on to accomplish the same, but as of right now, his trophy case just has one DFB Pokal.
The Liverpool boy, though, has a somewhat larger collection. Jude, perhaps you’ll make it there one day. Perhaps you won’t.
