According to Report, Liverpool rejects Madrid as the Reds are about to sign a new contract.

After rumors and reports about Real Madrid and Barcelona showing interest in Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has two years left on his contract, Liverpool fans may have been fearing the worst.

Despite claims from 90min sources that both teams still have a “active interest” in the England international, a recent report from Football Insider may be about to allay those fears.

The Reds and the 24-year-old allegedly have a principled agreement in place regarding new terms at Anfield.

Make every effort to keep Trent at Liverpool.

If accurate, it would be very significant news for Jurgen Klopp and company, especially given the elevated significance of the No. 66 in the manager’s new box formation.

Beyond that, however, it is obvious to everyone that Alexander-Arnold is not only possibly the best right-back in the world of football, but also one of the best players in the world of football overall.

It would be an epically devastating blow to lose the services of our vice-captain, as well as a future bolt-on Liverpool captain, in the relatively near future.

Reds, complete it as soon as possible!
