Youssoufa Moukoko of Borussia Dortmund has an option to join Liverpool or Chelsea, with Real Madrid also in the running.

Last year, Moukoko made his debut for Dortmund’s first squad. The previous season, when he participated in 16 Bundesliga games and scored twice, he had a minor role.

However, the forward really started to stand out last season. Moukoko, who turned 18 a few months into the season, did in fact score seven goals and dish out four assists in 26 Bundesliga appearances.

His youthful performances caught the attention of several major teams, including Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool.

Although some teams even approached Dortmund about signing him, they secured his future at the club by extending his contract in January, keeping him with them until 2026.

His responsibilities this season, however, have changed from those of the previous one.

This season, Moukoko has played on the field for just 47 minutes in the Bundesliga.

It should come as no surprise that he hasn’t been able to score in the league, nor has he assisted any of his teammates.

Moukoko has suitors like Liverpool and Chelsea.

According to the source, it would cost any of those clubs €35 million (about £30 million) to sign him. Dortmund is also said to want to sell “to the highest bidder.”

More information about Real Madrid is provided than about any other team.

Bellingham reunion might not work out

Indeed, Real’s possible interest appears to be sparked by Jude Bellingham’s presence. According to the story, Moukoko and the English superstar are “good friends” from their time together at Dortmund.

According to the article, Real “does not rule out” trying to sign the forward next summer given the offer to sign him and Bellingham’s “recommendation.”

However, any of the opposing groups could sabotage the couple’s reconciliation.

Real might not have a clear shot at the snare, though there’s no way to know for sure just yet. Recently, it was claimed that Chelsea was composing a bid for Moukoko.

Given that, it seems improbable that they will do nothing and let the La Liga heavyweights walk away with the deal.
