The college football world is still trying to catch its breath.
After weeks of rumors, cryptic social media posts, and non-stop speculation, the moment LSU fans have dreamed about for years finally happened today: Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase are officially coming home.
The two Bengals superstars, fresh off another dominant NFL season, have signed on as special offensive advisors and mentors for the LSU Tigers, effective immediately.

In a joint statement released through LSU Athletics this afternoon:
“Once a Tiger, always a Tiger.
Baton Rouge raised us, shaped us, and gave us everything.
It feels like family again. We’re coming home to give back to the program and the state that gave us our start. Geaux Tigers forever.”
— Joe Burrow & Ja’Marr Chase
The duo will work directly with the LSU quarterbacks and wide receivers, provide weekly film sessions, and be on the sideline for every home game. They’ve already committed to spending the entire offseason in Baton Rouge beginning in January, personally recruiting and developing the next generation of Tigers.
Sources say both players turned down massive NFL endorsement opportunities and took significant pay cuts to make this happen, purely out of love for LSU and the state of Louisiana.
Tiger Stadium is expected to be deafening next fall.
Death Valley just got its heartbeat back.
Welcome home, Joe. Welcome home, Ja’Marr.
Louisiana never forgot you. 🐯💜💛
