Due to left hamstring discomfort, the Timberwolves ruled out Monte Morris for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Anthony Edwards was listed as questionable because of left ankle soreness.

Morris will miss his second straight game because of the same injury; on Friday, he was unable to play in the Cleveland Cavaliers game. Although Edwards’ status for Friday’s game was likewise labeled as uncertain, he participated and scored 19 points in the Wolves’ 113-104 overtime defeat.

Despite struggling with an ankle issue all season, Edwards has been able to play through it. Having participated in 61 of the Timberwolves’ 64 games thus far this season, he averages a team-best 26.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game.

For Sunday’s game, LeBron James (ankle) and Anthony Davis (shoulder) are also doubtful. Christian Wood is also sidelined for the Lakers with a knee ailment.
