Steph Curry will be available for the Golden State Warriors’ Saturday night matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. Curry is cleared to play in this important game since his name is not on the injury report. In order to get into the Western Conference playoffs, the Warriors must overtake the Lakers and other teams, which they now trail by two games in the standings.

Naturally, the Warriors must re-enter the play-in picture in order to climb into a playoff spot—which is proving to be a task in and of itself.

Even though Curry is still performing at an extremely high level, the Warriors have found it more difficult to maintain his ups and downs this season because of the uneven output they have received from their other players. Curry is the only Warriors player averaging more than 18 points per game this season, and he is still having a very strong year at 26.8 PPG.

The Warriors are not where they want to be at the moment, and they need to change things sooner rather than later. Golden State’s current squad needs to play better, but moves are probably required before they can become a serious contender.

The Warriors are trying to get back on track, so this game against the Lakers is important.
