Is there potential for the expansion of the Sean McVay coaching lineage? It appears so, as Zac Robinson, the Los Angeles Rams pass game coordinator, is said to be interviewing for the offensive coordinator role with the New England Patriots
On Sunday, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer conveyed the information. Additionally, there are reports indicating that Rams assistant coach Nick Caley is slated to interview for the identical position.
Zac Robinson donned the Patriots practice squad uniform during the 2010 season, and throughout his playing career, he had stints with the Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions, and Cincinnati Bengals. Since making the shift to coaching in 2019, Robinson has been a consistent presence on the Rams’ staff, initially serving as the assistant quarterbacks coach and assistant wide receivers coach before assuming his current position.
The quest for an offensive coordinator in New England coincides with the departure of head coach Bill Belichick and the subsequent appointment of Jerod Mayo to that position.
