LA might be interested having another running back in the rotation. Could Audric Estime be a candidate?

Is Audric Estime the next running back from Notre Dame to make a lasting impression on the Los Angeles Rams roster? Notre Dame teammate Kyren Williams took over leadback responsibilities with force. Due to injury, Williams didn’t do much in his rookie season but turned heads in his sophomore year. William’s injury concerns may lead LA to consider other candidates for the job. Estime is a possible name to think about.

His position on PFF’s Top RB list for the 2024 draft is visible to all. Currently, he is projected to go around pick 106 (depending on where you look, and I just went with PFF). Depending on how the board falls, that would place him in the third or fourth round. Between now and April, every draft board and all of this conjecture could change significantly. We are aware of that.

His attendance at Notre Dame is one thing that really jumps out to me. It’s not impossible that LA would look there again, given their recent success in drafting Williams from the same school. Not only is the Rams intrigued by his college football program, but the young player also intrigues them with his play.

His success can also be attributed to the playcalling and the offensive line at Notre Dame. In any case, Estime uses the ball in his hands to demonstrate a variety of skills and strength on his own.

Will he be able to compete against NFL talent? All that can be expected is that he performed admirably in comparison to the talent in front of him. He strikes the hole, maintains his footing, and demonstrates balance. He even jumps over players. I figure there will be a ton of measurements and “experts” who analyze his film. As time progresses, we should be able to determine more clearly whether and where Audric Estime gets drafted, but for now, just remember that he is a projected player. Or perhaps sunny Los Angeles?
