Despite a hip ailment, Puka Nacua is anticipated to participate in the Rams’ Week 17 matchup against the Giants.
The Los Angeles Rams and the New York Giants square battle in Week 17, with both teams still vying for a postseason berth. While LA continues to battle for postseason status, Puka Nacua is suffering with an ailment, but he should be able to attend the 1:00 PM EST game at MetLife Stadium.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Nacua is likely to participate despite having a hip issue that is labeled as questionable. The fact that he is still interested in going despite missing a recent practice is encouraging.
Nacua, the 177th overall selection of the previous draft, has emerged as one of the top pass-rushers in the NFL for the Rams. He has accumulated 1,327 receiving yards, 96 receptions, and five touchdowns in 15 games this season. In the unlikely event that Nacua is unable to go, LA has the talent to defeat the humble Giants. But catching passes from Matthew Stafford with him and Cooper Kupp will help Los Angeles get to 9-7.
The Rams will need to keep an eye out for additional injuries before the game. In addition to linebacker Ernest Jones (illness), guard Joe Noteboom (foot), tackle Alaric Jackson (thigh), and linebacker Tre Tomlinson (hamstring) are all listed as questionable.
